Diesmal begrüßen wir zwei mittel-alte Hasen aus der Berliner Bass-Music Szene, die vorerst jedoch noch unerkannt bleiben möchten. Double Standard haben sich zum Ziel gesetzt, Bass-Music mit 4/4 Ansatz in der Stadt zu etablieren. Dazu werden sie in naher Zukunft ein Soundsystem an den Start bringen, welches für u.a. bei kostenlosen Openairs im nächsten Sommer zum Einsatz kommen soll. Damit auch alle wissen, wovon hier überhaupt die Rede ist, haben sie natürlich einen Guestmix mitgebracht, der unter anderem Tracks von Taiki Nulight, Trashbat & Clean Shirt, Deadbeat UK, und vielen anderen enthält. Dazu gibt es ausserdem wieder ein kleines Interview mit allen weiteren Infos zu den beiden und DJ Saiman stellt einige neue Vinyl Releases vor. English: This issue of IMPULSE Berlin is dedicated to the duo Double Standard from Berlin. Double Standard consists of two producer-DJs that are actually well established in Berlin but would like to remain unknown for the time being. Their aim is to establish bass-music with a 4/4 approach in the Berlin dance music scene. In the near future they plan parties, and even to purchase a soundsystem that shall be used for openair sessions next year. In order to show what this little mystery is all about, they brought a really nice guestmix showcasing their favourite tunes that represent the 4/4 bassline approach.
